Jazz and Rock

Jazz Ensembles

The Jazz Ensembles take place in the Music Centres and range from the beginner groups (Junior Jazz) to the Swing Bands and Big Bands for the more advanced players.

Rock School

The KMS Rock School is a growing section of the Music School and attracted over 75 young people to a summer course introducing many of the technical aspects of making and recording popular music.

The Rock School operates in schools and also centrally on Friday evenings in Huddersfield.

Initiatives include the formation of a Soul Band combining guitarists, percussionists, brass and woodwind players.
