Shelley Music Centre and Kirklees Youth Jazz Orchestra Jazzy Christmas Gig

On Saturday 3rd December an excited audience filled Shelley Village Hall to bursting point for a fabulous celebration of jazz.

The entertainment was courtesy of the Shelley Music Centre Big Band, the Kirklees Youth Jazz Orchestra and the recently formed Shelley Adult Swing Band. The evening was a lovely chance for parents and supporters to celebrate the work the bands have done over the past twelve months and was a great opportunity for pupils, parents and supporters to socialise and relax. All three bands delighted the audience with their outstanding performances before joining forces to create a mega big band of over 60 players for the finale items - a sight and sound never before experienced in the venue!
